  • 1960 - 1963 Served as Ass't Coach Baseball and Basketball Braintree High School
  • Appointed Head Coach Baseball Braintree High School. MA 1964
    • Bay State League Champions 1964, '65, '66 '70
    • Five-time State Qualifiers '64, '65, '66, '68 & '70
    • 1966 State Finalist and Eastern Mass State Class "A" Champions
    • Braintree American Legion Head Coach 1964 - 1971, 5 Zone Champions
    • 1966 State of Mass Runners-up
  • University of Connecticut Left-handed pitcher and Co-Captainin 1955. His team won two Yankee Conference Championships in 1954 and 1955.
  • Played professionally with the Kansas City A’s
  • Served in the U.S. Army in 1957 and 1958.
  • College Basketball Official 1967 - 1982
  • Appointed head coach of Brandeis University in 1972, and guided them to a 172-65-4 record. Led the Judges to six Greater Boston League titles, six NCAA Tourney berths, and a National runner-up title in the 1977 World Series.
  • Coached 16 years as Princeton’s head coach and retired in 1998 as the second highest winning coach in Princeton’s long history.
  • 1985 - won Princeton’s first EIBL title in 32 years and appeared in the Atlantic Regional of the NCAA Tourney.
  • NCAA District I Coach of the Year. - 1985, 1991 and 1996
  • Combined record of 634-431-11 (.590) in 36 years of collegiate and high school coaching.
  • Had 3 All-American performers, 6 Academic All-American Baseball Players, and 21 players drafted or signed to professional contracts.

  • Established the National Babe Ruth Baseball Camp at Princeton University in 1984

  • 2004: Played for the Canadian Olympic Baseball team in Athens, Greece. Batted .419
  • 2003: Managed A-Williamsport (NY-Penn League), leading Crosscutters to league championship in second season at helm.
  • 2002: In first season as manager, guided A-Williamsport to playoffs while tying franchise's short-season record for wins (48).
  • 2000-01: Served as bullpen catcher for Toronto. Also was catching instructor for Blue Jays at Spring Training in 2000. Threw to Carlos Delgado in the HR Derby at the Major League All Star game in Atlanta in 2000.
  • 1999: Played 54 games for AA-Reading Phillies (Eastern League), batting .300(57-for-190) with 7 HR and 40 RBI. Played for Canada at 1999 Pan-American Games in Winnipeg, leading team in batting (.452, 14-for-31) and was tournament leader in runs (10), hits (14) and RBI (15) while also hitting four HR. Won bronze medal courtesy of 6-1 win over Mexico and named team MVP. Hit grand slam in first game back with AA-Reading at AA-Akron Aug. 6.
  • 1998: Played for both AA-Wichita (Texas League) and AAA-Omaha (Pacific Coast League). Hit career-high .338 with AA-Wichita while leading all league catchers with .988 fielding percentage. Threw out 33 per cent of base stealers.
  • 1997: Had contract selected from AAA-Omaha by Kansas City Sept. 4.
    Made MLB debut as pinch-runner Sept. 6. Collected first MLB hit Sept. 18 in his 1st at bat 2B against Chicago White Sox' Chuck McElroy. Made lone start behind plate on final day of regular season.
  • 1996: Threw out 44 per cent of base stealers with AA-Wichita and 56 per cent at AAA-Omaha. Hit .302 (61-for-202) with AA-Wichita.
  • 1995: Batted .301 (47-for-156) with 24 runs in 44 games for AAA-Omaha. 1994: Finished third in Carolina League in hitting and tied for first in slugging (.542) while with A-Wilmington. Was fifth with .386 on-base percentage. Named league All-Star. Hit career-high 17 HR and 68 RBI. Team won Carolina League Championship.
  • Combined 11 yr minor league career played in 898 games totaling 3,090 AB’s with a career average of .280 with 71 HR and 433 RBI.
